The story begins with a mother committing suicide due to problems with her son. Following her miraculous revival, she comes to know that her son does not, in fact, hate her like she'd assumed he did. However, in exchange for her second chance at life she's forced into playing deadly mind games with others in the same situation as herself.

CAUTION: There is quite a lot of nudity here; it's more art-house variety than hentai, but if you'd rather not deal with nudity period, this probably isn't the book for you. The stories in the first volume are in published order, rather than chronological: the first manga begins with Archer being released from prison for shooting his father.
